Pregnancy is a time of joy, a time of many changes to your body and mind. We have designed a gift box to help the mum to be relax and enjoy the journey.

We are mindfulness practitioners, as well as holistic therapists specialing in maternity therapies. We have filled the gift box with organic aromatherapy products and information to have along the way. This is a thoughtful gift for a new mum, to celebrate the baby shower and gender reveal party.

In this box you will find

  • a 100ml organic fragrance free (“help me be fragrance free”) massage oil

  • a 75g “help me have a mindful of calm” soy candle

  • a FSc beechwood body brush made with vegan plant based bristles, plastic free

  • a mindfulness guidance card featuring two mindfulness meditations

At times, during the pregnancy, your body may struggle with fluid retention, gentle brushing of the lower leg in an upwards direction can help mobilse the fluid to the popliteal gland behind the knee. We wholeheartedly recommend massage during your pregnancy and birth. However please do not massage before week 12, we have been very careful to not add essential oils to the massage oil. The carrier oils we use are perfect for sensitive skin types, safe for during pregnancy. We have blended jojoba, apricot kernel and grapeseed. You can massage you tum to help limit stretch marks. How lovely would it be to have a lower leg massage to help relieve tension from being on your feet all day.

We have chosen the scent of the candle to help with relaxation, you do not need to light the candle, the oils will safely diffuse around the room without the need for being lit. If you do light the candle, please do not leave a lit candle unattended, in easy reach of children and animals, near flammable fabrics and surfaces.

It is vital to spend time relaxing and allowing your mind and body to rest, why not try the two meditations on the guidance card.

The Three Minute Pregnancy Meditation

Get yourself in a comfortable position, and use pillows and blankets to support you.

Minute 1: Take a minute to ask yourself how you are doing. Become more aware of how you feel and what may be causing these feelings. Don’t judge yourself or blame yourself for anything, just simply recognise and be aware of how you feel.

Minute 2: Spend a minute focusing on your breath – allow your breath to be natural, if you mind wanders, bring your thoughts back to your breath.

Minute 3: For the last minute focus on your body, place your hands on your abdomen, and notice the movements of your baby, maybe your stomach feels warm Allow your mind to relax, if a thought enters your head, let it go as if it were a leaf floating down the stream.
